This is one of the Kangaroo Paw depictions in my Indigenous Native Flowers series. It represents the memory of roundness and the colors in our Kangaroo Paw that attracts us into the garden further.
My family on Palawa lands and here in Bunurong lands is connected to many Indigenous Native Plants and Native Trees. In their time they utilized many parts of the plant and trees to trade, shelter, feed, medical needs or creating many things with. The bark, sap, leaves, inner trunk , flowers, stems and the branches are all used to live a natural life.
