Best practice for caring for designs and homemade items
Your New Hand crafted or UV Acrylic JEWELLERY is best cared for by:
My design pieces of wearable art are made with care and checked thoroughly, but they are delicate with the artwork which is created with Acrylic and Posca Paint pens for details.
The top coat have a MATT or SATIN finish spray or lacquer which has been dried properly, but the Best storage of jewellery is out of the sunlight and in a face up position, so the artwork stays undamaged.
The jewellery is mostly on different wood types and I do share what wood is for each item. it is not recommended that you swim or bath in them if you want them at their best.
All by jewellery created by N’Dene is bought within Australia. The earring findings are 925 Sterling Silver from an Australian company - “ Over the Rainbow” I use their Sterling Silver jump rings or a Stainless Steel or steel based black and copper coloured jump rings which are perfect for sensitive skin as it contains slightly less nickel than Surgical Steel. If you would like to order any gold or other materials for commissions please email.
Your Best practice for long-life Artwork care is:
Our Artwork looks Stunning Beautiful on the walls, ceilings, buildings or in frames. But we need to take care of it to preserve it’s long life. You are welcome to research best practice online, however, this is what I do to safe guard my own work on my walls.
I try not to touch it, even though it is tempting when moving it, because the dirt or oils from our hands can damage it. You can use gloves to move artwork around into new positions. I generally touch the edges on the creases or I carry it from the back of the wire or backing woods when moving it.
We can’t avoid dust no matter how tidy we are and if we live by bush or ocean it comes in daily. So for dusting of the art I use a soft and dry cloth or a clean feather duster ( only used for art cleaning) very gently to take any off at the top. On the artwork I use an even more gentle approach and light dust as required.
Keeping art in the direct sunlight is not advised as it drains the colours and can create damage.
